Keep Genesee County Beautiful (KGCB) provides programs and services to residents of Genesee County. We encourage, educate and engage the community through all of our programming.
KGCB serves as a “grass roots” catalyst for change. We provide a neutral focus that our community can rally around and at the same time provide immediate, positive visual results. Our materials, supplies, training and education, technical assistance and encouragement are building a spirit of cooperation while giving residents permission to take action/control of the neighborhoods where they live through “hands on” involvement. In turn, this neighborhood empowerment impacts the community at large via resident demands for policy changes at the governmental level on issues such as blight, the need for rigorous code enforcement, park improvements and adoption of updated plant and tree palettes for use in our communities.
