Keep Genesee County Beautiful was certified as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful in April of 2004. The program is funded by the Ruth Mott Foundation (RMF) and the United Way of Genesee County serves as our fiscal sponsor.
Since its inception in 2004, KGCB has become a national Keep America Beautiful (KAB) award winning affiliate and has received the KAB President’s Circle Recognition Award every year since 2004.
KGCB receives funding from the Ruth Mott Foundation to fulfill its mission to “encourage, educate and engage the community in the ongoing clean up and beautification of Genesee County”. KGCB also receives funds from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint for beautification mini-grants.
The KGCB program is staffed by a director, three part time program assistants and one amazing volunteer board of directors.
